For the love of food

A scrapbook

Ah food… I am sure everyone would agree that it’s something that brings us great pleasure. However, as much as we enjoy eating, we don’t often think that what we put on our plate is particularly meaningful. But why shouldn’t it be? Nietzsche, for example, admired a meat stew. What he realised and proposed is that the material that we often consume would influence our intellectual self. Food has the power to change our moods, inspire us or bring us to despair.

So here it is, an ongoing collection of captures of beloved foods and the emotions they could inspire in us.
